Jacuzzi® Hot Tub Alkalinity Increaser - 25kg
All about me
Jacuzzi’s Hot Tub Alkalinity Increaser is used to raise the Total Alkanility level in a Hot Tub. Low Total Alkalinity causes spa water to be corrosive that may result in staining, etching of spa surfaces. Low Total Alkalinity may cause ph to fluctuate excessively when being adjusted.
The ideal pH levels are between 7.2 – 7.8, promoting bather comfort, optimum chemical efficiency and protection of Hot Tub equipment.
7.2 or below indicates that your water is too acidic, which can cause itchiness and eye burn, and your sanitiser to be less effective. High acidity can result in costly damage to your hot tub parts too.
7.8 or above, like high alkalinity, can contribute to scale build-up, foam and cloudy water.
Test the pH of your Hot Tub water and if it is below 7.2 use pH+ (increaser) to raise it.
Need to know
Please note: A Ph level between 7.2 and 7.8 must be maintained in your hot tub.*
*We advise to use test strips to test sanitiser levels, pH levels and Total Alkalinity (TA).
This product is supplied in 25kg.
